Pictured here is the sole is the new Adapt-Tech sole. It will adapt to your needs whether it is putting power to the pedals or scrambling up an un-ridable section of the trail.

The sole will flex a bit in front of the cleat, but from the cleat back it's stiff for power transfer. 

The white that you see is the Innegra fiber. 

It's still a durable  Vibram sole, but everything that is not absolutely needed, is cut away to save weight. 

 Carbon / Innegra sole and a full length ultra durable Vibram sole. Same stiff sole as the performance road shoes.

I started making bike shoes in the back of my Ski Boot shop in Vail, Colorado in 1986. I’ve been making cycling shoes ever since then, almost continually. 

Since starting this latest business in 2018, right after leaving D2 and moving to Arizona. A fresh start. 

The backlog has grown from under 1 month to about 8 months and it keeps growing. 

In December I’ll turn 70. It’s time to enjoy life a bit. I want to ride bikes more, and maybe even ski a few days this winter. In other words, I want to take the time to enjoy life with friends and family. 

So, to slow it down a bit, I have decided not to take on any new clients. The current customer base will keep me plenty busy with re-orders. I am very grateful to my loyal customers. 

I’ll keep this website, but there is no longer the link to request a Fit Kit. 

I haven’t decided if I’ll continue with any social media, since I’m not looking to grow the business.
